Don't Be a “Tool Fool”

God wants to use you to be the unique individual he designed you to be. You don’t need to try to be someone else, there’s only one you. Often times people try to share their faith like someone else does and their blood pressure rises, they start breathing heavy, their palms start sweating, and they awkwardly say something they have memorized, trying to convey the good news of Jesus. That’s foolish, but don’t fret, God loves us foolish, broken, needy people. The point is to share the love of Christ through your life and genuine interest with others and at the appropriate time, to use evangelism tools if it feels right in your head. A tool is useless if you don’t know how to use it. To share your faith effectively you will want to find a tool, or a method that is comfortable for you. Be sure to look for resources and learning opportunities coming up.
