How Feeling Known Led to Trusting God Deeper
At North Valley, we believe church is more than just a place to sit on Sundays — it’s family, faith, and fun rolled into one. It’s where we gather to discover truth for life, grow in our spiritual journey, and go make a difference in the world. For London White, one of our incredible high schoolers, that purpose has become part of her everyday story.
“The past three years I have been here at North Valley I have felt my faith grow strong and Jesus move through my life in so many ways. I feel like I have family here and the community is there for me. I call this church my second home.”
Every Sunday morning and Wednesday night, London shows up ready to gather with her church family and learn more about the truth that sets her free. She loves how God uses every sermon to speak to her heart and how He’s grown her faith week by week.
More than anything, London treasures the real relationships that make North Valley feel like home:
“I appreciate how supportive North Valley is. What makes our church so special is the personal relationships you build here. I feel that I have genuine and personal relationships with the staff and leaders here so I am not afraid to be myself. I know I have people to go to when I’m struggling.”
These connections gave her the courage to step up and go make a difference by serving in Kids and Student ministries — and she’s never looked back:
“Serving in Kids and Student ministries at North Valley has changed my perspective on how God can move in the next generation. Also, I love volunteering my time on Sunday mornings to see these kids grow and help out my church. Almost instantly after I started serving, I fell in love with it. It’s one of the best ways to spend my time at church.”
One milestone moment in London’s faith journey was her baptism in April 2023 — a day she’ll never forget:
“It was one of the best decisions I have ever made and it contributed to the growth in my relationship with Jesus Christ.”
This year, London faced deep heartache when she lost her mom, but her faith and her church family have surrounded her through it all:
“I recently lost my mom at the beginning of 2025 and it has been a very difficult journey I am still dealing with. I know God is not done with me yet and I need to trust in His plan. The love he has for his children will never end and it is so strong. I can feel it and I see it.”
London’s story is a beautiful picture of what happens when we gather, grow, and go together — discovering truth, growing stronger, and sharing God’s love in real and practical ways.
We’re so proud of you, London, and grateful for the joy and light you bring to North Valley.
