Jesus is evidently working in and through our church, and serving in various areas of ministry can lead to profound personal impact. Serving allows one to carry out and display Christ's character. Today, we want to introduce Martin Ohradan, who shares his experience of serving and forming spiritually enriching friendships through North Valley.  

Martin found North Valley roughly a year and a half ago with his fiance, Lexi. The two quickly established friendships and connections. They were able to be both bold and caring and inspire those they encountered through their God-centered relationship. Martin displayed servant leadership and became more involved with the facilities and securities teams at North Valley.  Martin states, " I have grown a lot since being at North Valley. God and I have fostered a better relationship since I started regularly attending community group and regularly serving on the facilities team and security team. I have also created many friends with the same spiritual beliefs as mine. Since I started serving, I have noticed that the church is always trying to do better and to follow God's will and plan. They have grown a lot since I started attending a little over a year ago."

Martin goes on to say, "Serving has been a part of my journey, allowing me to foster a better relationship with God by being a steward of the land and helping the church be presentable Sunday morning. Being on the security team has also helped my journey by helping me see the side of keeping God's people safe on any given Sunday. God is so amazing in what he does in our lives, and I think it's important that we all thank God for even the most minor things he does for us. From a life of sin to becoming a Christian, I have seen God move mountains for me by breaking addictions, and it's my pleasure to be serving His people and doing His will by attending and serving at North Valley."

Martin is a valuable member of the North Valley community. It is an encouragement to see that as he has positively impacted the church, he has simultaneously been impacted.
