Life is a journey. There are mountain top experiences and lows in the valley of life we must all walk through. Everyone is on a journey. As we look at chapter seven of John’s gospel, we learn from the Journey of Jesus Himself! Jesus makes a special trip to Jerusalem for an important festival called “The Feast of Tabernacles.” This festival served as a reminder for all believers that God was there with them in the wilderness, to guide them and provide for them during their time of the Exodus, and He would be there for them in the future as well, when He would establish His kingdom as Messiah and King. When Jesus showed up, the controversy began! Doubts, debates, and divisions about his identity dominated his time there.
