JESUS IS COMING! WHAT SHOULD WE DO?

#1 LIVE A LIFE OF PROGRESS AND POTENTIAL (vs.1-3a)

#2 LIVE A LIFE OF PASSION AND PURITY. (vs.3b-8)

#3 LIVE A LIFE OF PURPOSE IN PRACTICAL WAYS. (vs.9-12)

TALK IT OVER

1. In 1 Thessalonians 4:1-3a, Paul urges believers to walk in a way that pleases God. How can we, in our daily lives, continuously strive for progress in our faith and potential as followers of Christ?

2. Verses 3b-8 emphasize the importance of sanctification and purity. What practical steps can we take to maintain purity in our thoughts, actions, and relationships? How does this align with our passion for God?

3. Paul encourages the Thessalonians to love one another and to live quietly, minding their own affairs and working with their hands. How can we apply these principles in our own lives to live purposefully and practically? (vs. 9-12)

4. Reflecting on the verses from 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10, 2:19, 3:13, 4:16-17, and 5:23, how does the promise of Jesus' return influence our daily decisions and long-term goals? What impact does this have on our hope and conduct?

5. In 2 Thessalonians 2:1-2, Paul addresses the confusion and alarm concerning the timing of Jesus' return. How?

6. What’s your big takeaway from the sermon, and how can you put it into action?

7. Pray and thank the LORD for his promise to return and his help till He comes!
