1. Icebreaker Question: If you could have any superpower for a day, what would it be and why?"

2. Take a minute to review the passage and review the sermon outline. 2 Thessalonians 6-10, ESV. You may want to read starting back at vs. 1.

3. What stood out to you about the sermon or passage? 

4. According to 2 Thessalonians 1:6-10, how is Jesus revealed, and what significance does each aspect have (e.g., 'from heaven,' 'with His mighty angels,' 'in flaming fire')?

5. God's Timing. What do Psalm 27:14 and Psalm 130:5 teach us about waiting on God’s timing? How can we apply these lessons to our daily lives?

6. God's Justice. How does 2 Thessalonians 1:6-10 describe God's justice? Compare this with Romans 12:19 and Deuteronomy 32:35. What do these passages reveal about how God administers justice?

7. Jesus' Repayment. According to 2 Thessalonians 1:6-10, how will Jesus repay those who do not obey the gospel? How does this compare with Romans 12:19 and 2 Timothy 4:14.

8. Repentance.  Luke 5:31-32, Luke 13:3, and Matthew 4:17 all speak about repentance. What common themes do you see, and how do these passages shape our understanding of why Jesus calls people to repent?

9. Applying Waiting.  How can you incorporate the lessons from Psalm 27:14, Isaiah 40:31, and Psalm 37:7 into your life when waiting on the Lord? Share a personal example if possible. 

10. Trusting in Justice. What does Isaiah 30:18 teach us about trusting God’s justice? How does this impact your view of God’s handling of injustice in the world?

11. Sharing Your Faith. In what ways can you practically apply Acts 1:8 and 2 Corinthians 5:20 in sharing your faith? What barriers do you face in doing so, and how can you overcome them?

12. Call to Prayer: Let’s take some time to pray for one another and our church’s witness in the community. Specifically, pray for courage in sharing the gospel, patience in waiting on God’s timing, and trust in His justice. Who would like to start us off?
