The Application
How We, As a Church, Can Fulfill Our Purpose.

1. We need to be faithful to Gather to discover truth for life.
2. We need to commit to Grow in your spiritual journey.
3. We need to Go make a difference!

Talk It Over

1. Icebreaker: If you could instantly become an expert in any skill or hobby (like
juggling flaming swords or speaking multiple languages), what would you choose
and why? This question invites everyone to share a bit about their interests and aspirations in a fun way!

2. Reading the Passage: Let’s read 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 together. What stood
out to you from the passage and the sermon outline?

3. Understanding the Prayer: How does understanding that God makes us worthy
of His calling (Ephesians 2:8-9) impact our daily lives?

4. Exploring Resolve for Good: In what ways can we actively seek to fulfill "every
resolve for good" in our communities?

5. Works of Faith: What works of faith is God doing in your life right now? How is it
part of your spiritual journey?

6. The Power of God: Reflect on Ephesians 1:19-20. How does recognizing God’s
power affect your trust in His plans for your life?

7. Empowerment for Action: How can we actively rely on the Holy Spirit's power in
our everyday actions (Acts 1:8)?

8. Purposeful Living: What are some practical ways we can let our light shine and
glorify God in our lives (Matthew 5:16)?

9. Understanding the Plan: What does Romans 5:20 teach us about the relationship
between God’s grace and our struggles?

10. Commitment to Gather, Grow, and Go: Which of the three commitments (Gather,
Grow, Go) do you feel most challenged by, and why?

11. Closing Prayer: Let’s take a moment to pray for one another, focusing on how we
can rely on God’s power and fulfill His purpose in our lives.
