2. God’s Grace Saves us from the Power of Sin (vs. 12)

3. God’s Grace Saves us from the Presence of Sin (vs.13)

4. God’s Grace Saves for His Purposes (vs.14)

Talk It Over

  1. Ice Breaker: What’s the funniest or most unexpected “free gift” you’ve ever received? Did you know Salvation is free? It’s a gift to be received! (Eph. 2:8-9)
  2. Read Titus 2:11–14 together. How does this passage describe God’s grace and its impact on our lives?
  3. What stood out to you most from the sermon or this passage, and why?
  4. Titus 2:11 speaks about God’s grace bringing salvation to all people. How does this reflect the idea of being saved from the penalty of sin (cf. Ephesians 2:8–9, Romans 6:23)? How should this shape your understanding of grace?
  5. In verse 12, what does God’s grace teach us to renounce and pursue? How does this process reflect God’s ongoing work of saving us from the power of sin (cf. Romans 6:12–14)?
  6. What are practical ways you can grow in self-control, uprightness, and godliness this week? Where do you need God's grace to help you?
  7. Titus 2:13 describes waiting for our “blessed hope” and the return of Jesus. How does this promise of being saved from the presence of sin encourage you in your daily life (cf. Philippians 3:20–21, 1 Corinthians 15:51–53)?
  8. How can keeping your focus on Christ’s return help you handle challenges or temptations today?
  9. In verse 14, Paul explains that Christ gave Himself to redeem and purify a people “zealous for good works.” How does this connect to 1 Peter 2:9–10? What does it mean to be “zealous for good works” in your own life?
  10. What is one specific way you can live out your calling as someone redeemed and set apart for God this week?
  11. Looking back at Titus 2:11–14, what truth about God’s grace do you want to focus on this week? How can the group support and pray for you in this area?
  12. How can we pray for one another to grow in our faith, and efforts to make a difference for God’s glory?
