  2. What stands out to you most in Acts 5:30–42,ESV and why?
  3. What truths about Jesus do the apostles clearly affirm in this passage?
  4. Why do you think the council reacts so strongly to the apostles’ message?
  5. How does Gamaliel respond differently than both the apostles and the rest of the council?
  6. Why can neutrality or “waiting to see” feel safer than responding directly to Jesus?
  7. In what ways can people today avoid the truth about Jesus without openly opposing Him?
  8. The apostles rejoice after being beaten (v. 41). What does that reveal about their faith and priorities?
